Peihua Ku

Growing up in Queens, Peihua Ku enjoyed visits to the American Museum of Natural History with his favorite place being the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life. His fascination with Marine Life eventually led him to a career in the U.S. Navy. Captain Ku has been a Jesup Legacy Circle member for almost twenty years. He first designated the Museum as a beneficiary in preparation for his military deployments. Throughout his travels and even after settling down in California, being a contributor to the Museum’s future has helped him stay connected with his hometown and childhood past. Accepting and appreciating the impacts of biological evolution and climate change will be critical to Humanity’s future; Peihua is proud to support the Museum’s efforts to educate the Public on how integrated we are within the Natural World.
